Consolidated Food Service
Consolidated Food Service prepares and delivers over 4000 meals per day to customers such as: The Dane County Jail, Badger Prairie Health Care Center and Verona Seniors Center.

The Controller’s Office provides centralized financial management, accounting, and internal control services; maintains the books of account, the indirect cost plan, payroll services; summarizes and publishes necessary financial information, including the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report; coordinates the capital borrowing with the financial advisor, bond counsel, and rating agencies; prepares tax apportionment; provides policy, budget, and management services to the County Executive, County Board, departments, various boards, commissions, committees, and related agencies; and serves as the County Auditor as defined statutorily.

Employee Relations
The Employee Relations Division is responsible for providing effective personnel services pertaining to recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, staff development training, employee assistance and management consultation.

Facilities Management
Facilities Management is the guardian of many Dane County Buildings. Through their efforts they seek to maintain building environments that are safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and an efficient place in which to work and conduct government activities.

Information Management
Information Management is responsible for building and maintaining the county's network and information technology-related infrastructure, developing and purchasing computer programs to increase the openness and efficiency of county government, and assisting employees with technology-related problems when they arise.

Printing and Services
Printing and Services handles printing and copying of business cards, letterheads, envelopes, legal documents, forms, reports and newsletters, is responsible for delivery of inter-department mail and other postal functions for both the City of Madison and Dane County, and runs a vehicle pool for county departments.

The Purchasing Division provides a central purchasing function for all Dane County Departments. This function includes issuing bids and requests for proposals as well as maintaining a list of vendors interested in doing business with the County.

Risk Management
To preserve the county's assets by protecting its human, financial, and property assets from loss through various risk management practices.
