2024 Reimbursements

There are several reimbursement options that are available to Dane County Employees through the Wellness Program on a first-come first-serve basis (once funding is exhausted for each reimbursement bucket, reimbursements cannot be approved). These reimbursements are effective the first of the year and all purchases must be made in the calendar year. Only regular Dane County Employees can participate in the reimbursements (excludes LTEs & family members).

  • Gym Membership: Join a gym, fitness center, online fitness program or attend a fitness class and get reimbursed! Upon submission of proof of payment, you will receive up to a max total of $120/year of your paid amount. You may submit your payment monthly with proof of payment or all at once if you pay for the year in advance, but reimbursements will be paid on a first-come, first-serve basis, and once this funding is gone, reimbursements cannot be approved. You can only get reimbursed for months that you can show proof of payment for.
  • Health & Wellness Reimbursement: The following options are available for reimbursement - Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), Wellness App, Seed/Seedling purchases, Fresh Fruit/Veggies purchases, Fitness Event, Weight Loss Program, Fitness Tracker, Athletic Shoes, Hunting/Fishing License or Trail/State Park Pass. Upon submission of proof of payment/required information, you will receive up to 50% of your paid amount, up to a max total of $75. You may submit your reimbursement from one category or multiple categories, but your total overall reimbursement cannot exceed $75 for the year.
  • Fitness Equipment: Rent or purchase fitness equipment for yourself and get reimbursed. This could include things like a kayak, bike, weights, home gym items, sports equipment, fishing poles, golf clubs, skis or snowshoes, etc. (You can only submit Fitness Shoes or Fitness Trackers on the Health & Wellness Reimbursement.) Upon submission of proof of payment/required information, you will receive up to 50% of your paid amount, up to a max total of $50.
